I'm Geordie, and this is my personal website. I'm a linguistics graduate from the University of Melbourne, and I live and work in Melbourne (Wurundjeri country). This site I use as a personal blog, a repository of my work, and a record of my activities. All views are my own.

If you're wondering how to pronounce my name, you wouldn't be alone. I pronounce it [dʒoːdi]. However, if you have a rhotic accent (or an accent which permits rhotics in syllable codas), you can say [dʒoɹdi] or [dʒordi] or whatever you would use for <r>. If this doesn't mean anything to you, just pronounce it how you would pronounce the name Georgie, but swapping the second 'g' sound out with a 'd'.
